After purchasing an existing farm in 2014, Wright's Family Farm has been working to provide fresh, local produce to western Newfoundland consumers. Located at 99 Main Street, Pasadena, where we operate a Upick for strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, currants and pumpkins as well as a market filled with an assortment of fruit and vegetables. Along with the products already mentioned, we also grow peas, beans, kale, swiss chard, turnip greens, various lettuces, broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, parsnips, sweet corn, cucumbers, zucchini, squash and a few potatoes and cabbages. As well, we are working on expanding our apple and plum plantings.

We farm conventionally but believe in doing everything we can to maintain our natural resources. We practice crop rotation and the use of cover crops that are utilized as green manure crops to increase organic matter and soil health.
